High-Level Architecture

Every partner in the AWS Solution Partner Program is the legal holder of the Management Account. We partners need to follow a set of requirements, which can be found herearrow-up-right. To support this, we have the following high-level architecture diagram to explain what we will deploy in the Management Account to support these requirements.

Playground Tech Management Account - Standard Setup

Since an AWS Partner is the legal owner of the Management Account, AWS has an ownership model called the End Customer Account Model (ECAM) to explain ownership of the accounts. As an AWS Partner, we're not allowed to enter the customer's account without the customer's approval. To prevent this and ensure customer integrity, we have several mechanisms in place.
